Jenny Laing

Jenny Laing is a recognized authority and proven leader in promoting a compassionate and just society for those most vulnerable. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Operations, Jenny spearheads Ascension Texas’ Center for Violence Intervention & Policy which includes the Human Trafficking Prevention Hub and the Hospital-based Violence Intervention Program (HVIP).

In this capacity, Jenny integrates a proactive strategy to identify patients experiencing human trafficking as well as those who have been victims of violence. To date, she and her team have directly trained over 9,000 clinicians and associates on human trafficking, and have been a part of the identification of over 1,200 potential survivors throughout the Ascension Texas network.
