Joe Bland

 Joe E Bland is the former CEO of Joe Bland Construction, L.P. and past Manager of Central Texas Stone and Aggregate L.L.C. He is a lifetime resident of Austin and attended the University of Texas prior to joining his father full time at Bland Construction Company in 1972. Being a second generation contractor he has worked with both developers and local and State municipalities for over 50 years. His company is built on character and Christian values passed down from his father and now being continued by his two sons, Collin and Cole.

 

He is a past president (1987) and founding member of the Austin Contractors and Engineers Association and past member of the Associated General Contractors of America. He currently serves on numerous non-profit boards as well as an elder at Lakeview Bible Church. Most recently he has engaged with DreamTogether 2030, a vision of community-wide unity in Central Texas. Joe and his wife Barbara have been married for 44 years and have two sons and daughters-in-laws and six grandchildren.
